Prayer

I would be lost without God's light.

Daily I witness the power of prayer. There are many forms of prayer, some we pray while alone, some we keep silent in our hearts. We can also pray for one another.

Please let me know how I can pray for you.

. . . . . . .

Here I share some of my favorite prayers.

Suscipe Prayer from St. Ignatius of Loyola

Take Lord, and receive all my liberty,

my memory, my understanding,

and my entire will,

all I have and call my own.

You have given all to me.

To you, Lord, I return it.

Everything is yours; do with it what you will.

Give me only your love and your grace,

that is enough for me. Amen.

Memorare

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored they help, or sought thy intercession, was left unaided. Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother; to thee do I come, before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise no my petitions, but in thy mercy, hear and answer me. Amen.
